Lisa Burton is a pro-European campaigner and writer based in Spain, with a long-standing commitment to democracy, equality, and citizens’ rights. She is Vice Chair of Bremain in Spain and is also on the Board of the European Movement UK where she is the Conduct Committee Chair.
Originally from the Rhondda Valleys in South Wales, Lisa combines lived experience with professional expertise to highlight the real-world consequences of political decisions, particularly the impact of Brexit on people’s everyday lives. Through her campaigning, writing, and leadership roles, she works to ensure that integrity, accountability, and fairness remain central to public life.
Lisa is a regular contributor to independent media and an experienced speaker on UK–EU relations, democracy, and citizens’ rights.
